Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Miles Mustangs to Tichenor! 🐎 Our future 6th graders spent the day getting a firsthand look at their new school—exploring the building, meeting staff, and getting a feel for what life at TMS is all about. From curious questions to excited smiles, it’s safe to say these Mustangs are ready to make the leap! We can’t wait to officially welcome you back next year as Trojans. The future is bright! 💙💛

Today we celebrate two incredible leaders on Principal’s Day! 💙 Dr. Jennifer Michael at Bartlett Educational Center and Mrs. Aubrey Ryan at Tichenor Middle School are both shining examples of what it means to lead with heart, vision, and purpose. In their first year in these roles, they have already made a powerful impact—building relationships, supporting students and staff, and creating positive, welcoming school communities. Their dedication, energy, and commitment to doing what’s best for kids does not go unnoticed. They have stepped into these leadership roles with confidence and care, and our schools are stronger because of them. Thank you, Dr. Michael and Mrs. Ryan, for your leadership, your passion, and the difference you make every single day. We appreciate you and are proud to celebrate you today! 🌟

🍎 School Lunch Hero Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in May to honor school nutrition professionals who prepare healthy meals, manage allergies, and provide friendly service to students. Thank you to our Lunch Heroes! 🦸

We enjoyed welcoming 5th grade students from Lindeman Elementary on Friday for their visit! It was great to have them in the building, and we loved getting to show them what makes our school special. We can’t wait to see them again soon!
